Stella Gets Her Groove On

I swear this isn't going to turn into a full-on daddy vlog, but since all the footage I've been shooting has been of Stella and since I'm trying to learn my way around Final Cut Pro, here's the latest family vid. Anne called me up at work last week to tell me that every time she put on the Scissor Sisters CD, Stella would start dancing like crazy. I got the demonstration that night. I wanted to try to capture in one continuous shot the way she danced through the whole song, but as soon as the camera rolls, all bets are off. But that meant I got to play around with the editing and the end result turned out really fun.

Stella's Vacation Video

It's been a very long time since I've posted a video here. Mainly it's because I haven't been shooting anything new except for family videos. This is one of those family videos. It's also the first time I've ever tried using Final Cut Pro. It's not that much different from Premiere Pro which I was using before, though it's a bit difficult trying to figure out how to do some of the same things in a completely new interface. So far, I like it and look forward to really learning the ins and outs of it.
