Stella Gets Her Groove On
I swear this isn't going to turn into a full-on daddy vlog, but since all the footage I've been shooting has been of Stella and since I'm trying to learn my way around Final Cut Pro, here's the latest family vid. Anne called me up at work last week to tell me that every time she put on the Scissor Sisters CD, Stella would start dancing like crazy. I got the demonstration that night. I wanted to try to capture in one continuous shot the way she danced through the whole song, but as soon as the camera rolls, all bets are off. But that meant I got to play around with the editing and the end result turned out really fun.

Stella has her groove on, all right. I wish I had captured my little girl on video like that. My little girl is now 19 and a film major at Biola, maybe UCI next year. She's been wanting' that Final Cut Pro. How's it working out for you? She says it's expensive. She's saving up for it though. Keep shooting those master pieces.
Hi gatekeeper,
Remember the kinds of video cameras they had available to the consumer 19 years ago? Best of luck to your daughter. I know there's an educational discount for Final Cut, or she can search around the darker corners of the web for a free copy. It's been working out great for me, and it really is becoming the industry standard.
So cute! She looks really happy. :-)
