Cool Cool Cool!

Somehow the folks at Salon.com got hold of A Guy Walks Into a Bar and featured it on their video blog, Video Dog (you'll need to watch a quick ad in order to actually see the post). Since then it has gotten over 6000 views and of course a couple of people with nothing better to do with their lives than bash the work of others rather than do anything interesting themselves (Rob Anderson really ought to do something with his blog before telling anyone not to quit their day job). Despite the fact that I've posted this film here at least twice already, it's not like I have much time to put anything new together what with a new baby and all. So yet again, here's A Guy Walks Into a Bar in case you haven't seen it yet.

Reruns for a While - Billy Bragg

Ever since Stella's birth, I haven't been doing a whole lot of updates on this blog. I still have a ton of stuff on tape, but I find myself not really having the time to do much with it. But the least I can do is repost some video clips. Today's repost is a clip of Billy Bragg playing at a Get Out the Vote Rally at the AFL-CIO building in Washington, DC on 10/22/02. I just found out that this clip is being featured on a blog specifically set up to trash videos that I've done that have any sort of political message (along with 2 videos that weren't by me, maybe an attempt to make it look like it's not just an attack on me). It's funny how something like politics can really bring out the worst in people. It can also bring out the best in people, like this powerful song:
