Blog Battles Part 2 and a Circus of Freaks
I've been doing a little bit better in Battle of the Blogs since the last time I posted about it, but today I hit a new low. Blogspot was down for a while today. No blogs hosted on blogspot were displaying. I lost my battle to a blogspot blog during that outage period. That hurts, people. Was my video of jellyfish at the aquarium really worse than a freakin' error message? Well, if you didn't like that video, you probably won't like this next one too much either, but I don't care. I'm feeling evil. Did you see my ranking number? Muhwah ha ha! Evil evil evil!
So here's another video, even though you don't deserve it. It's another clip from the Vegoose Festival. When the Vau De Vire Society opened up their Twisted Cabaret Tent, they did it with a full on parade through the audience, led by Angelo Moore of Fishbone. You'll get to see more of the Vau De Vire Society in a couple of days for Half Naked Thursday!

That's about the most hilarious and sad post I've ever seen. It's so WRONG! But I know how you feel. I wouldn't take it too seriously. There were probably a lot of pissed off blogspoters out there voting for the blogspot blogs, since they were initially all losing. (I was one of these losers -- not a voter -- and I lost 35 credits in the process.) Anyhow... be as evil as you like. You'll probably win next time.
Oh... and I actually dug the jellyfish video...

I haven't had a chance to watch any of the Chasing Windmills episodes, but I saw it a few days ago and blogmarked it as something to definitely check out at some point because your stills look really slick. I just saw (and voted for) your behind the scenes blog and I am quite impressed at how you're producing such quality material at such a rate. The only way I'm able to do this is that I'm sitting on tons of footage that I've shot over the years. I look forward to watching more of your stuff.

You must make friends with a bunch of Blog Exploders and coerce them to vote for you whenever your blog is in a battle. If you cannot bring yourself to be that dishonest, you're not cut out for battle.
I found this out the hard way myself, and when I complained (I naively thought one could not vote fairly without having, I don't know, read both blogs) I was told that, if I didn't like it, I didn't have to participate. Meh.

You know I can't figure out the battle of the blogs, sometimes I do really well. others i can't win for nothing. I do know one thing though during the day on week days I NEVER win LOL I can only win in the evenings and weekends. Does that mean my voters have to be drunk to vote for me ?
This is a first for me (where have I been?)!! Battle of video blogs!! I think I'm hooked! That video was quite interesting, those folks looked like they were having quite a good time!!
