The year started with Janet Jackson's boob at the superbowl, then the FCC started seriously cracking down and Clear Channel stations dumped the show, Howard got very political, Jay Leno stole Stuttering John, they had the Get John's Job contest, Richard and Sal started their antics, the move to Sirius was announced, and things wound up with a goofy holiday special.
