I wasn’t exactly trapped under any ice, but ice is the cause for what’s ailing me right now. I took the kiddo ice skating on Saturday and I wiped out right on my knees. I’ll be spending some time getting x-rayed today and will hopefully be in a world of painkiller bliss by noon.

The new Mastodon album is out tomorrow. I’ve had it for about a week but haven’t really been able to give it a proper listen yet. What I have heard so far has been pretty great. Each album since Blood Mountain seems to get a little more proggy. Anyway, here’s the video for Curl of the Burl which looks like an homage to The Evil Dead.
