Obama has selected his running mate, all but guaranteeing him all 3 electoral votes from our second smallest state! But seriously, I think I like Biden. I don't know a whole lot about him, but I seem to recall liking what he was saying when he was still in the primaries. Or maybe that was Chris Dodd. I'm not sure. I look forward to hearing more about him. The last couple of democratic VP choices managed to disappoint a bit. I liked what Edwards had to say, but when it was time for the Grisham-esque lawyer to take on Vice President Evil in a debate, he didn't deliver the crushing bitchslap that he could have and should have delivered. Before that, we had Lieberman. Yeah, the same Lieberman who is speaking at the republican convention this year. You should have heard the groans throughout the DNC building when Gore announced that his running mate was the republicans' favorite democrat. So right now it's so far so good with Biden. This ticket has a couple of months to say or do something that's going to make me bitter about having to vote for them.
