    OUCH!

I can't quite figure out what's worse, Hillary Clinton's determination to drag Obama down with her or what I had done in my mouth today. On one hand you've got a power mad woman with no chance of getting the nomination who refuses to see the writing on the wall and step aside to let her team win the game. And on the other hand, you've got 4 hours of dental hell. Since I don't have dental insurance, the only way I can afford to do anything with my teeth is to be the test subject for a dental student to take her board exam. This involves several visits before the actual exam. Today I spent two hours getting x rays. Those things tore up the roof and sides of my mouth pretty badly and made me almost gag. I was OK with it at that point since I am getting this done for free. But then I spent the next two hours in the chair with a test cleaning. This was to make sure that I would be a good candidate for her actual exam, and it involved major scraping under the gum line and what felt like a dozen of novocaine shots. Getting the shots hurts, but once they were in, I didn't feel much else, though I could tell that she was really digging hard in there. Once the novocaine started wearing off, it felt like somebody gave me a curb job. I'm rubbing oragel on every 15 minutes. I still can't figure out which is worse, but I sure wish there was something to numb the pain of watching Hillary Clinton not knowing when to just quit. Whoever figures out how to make political anesthetic could become a gazillionaire.

I may be lucky enough to avoid the Hilary V Osama battle you guys have (I'm an Aussie) but I have been the 'subject' of a dental student's handiwork!

For a truly painful read, cut and paste this to have a laugh and (hopefully) sympathetic whimper as well:

Dude - sorry to hear about your dental woes! And..thanks for that e-mail on that wild chick! Man - she was out there!

Regarding Hillary v. Obama - All the exit polls are saying the Dems want her to stay in. All those who voted for Obama prior to everything coming out about him are now thinking twice. His associations with racists, criminals, and homegrown terrorists were unknown before he had already taken the lead. Besides, Hillary has been winning all the big states that will really matter come November.

In any case, it pleases me to watch the Dems implode. Not like it's not happening on the Repub side as McCain is pushing his Conservative base away as well!

No matter who gets in come November - we're all screwed anyway!

BoBo, I thought you'd get a kick out of that crazy lady and her even crazier friends. BoBo of the week, perhaps? She has a website It's even funnier when they played clips of her on yesterday's Stern show with Howard and Robin laughing hysterically and Artie imitating that Nico guy.

I'm still solidly for Obama, though anybody who would run for president is bound to disappoint me eventually. I really just cannot stand Hillary. Just hearing her annoying voice makes me cringe, even worse than Bush's hillbilly twang. She's really everything I hate about politics and politicians. McCain is just kind of pathetic to me. I think out of the three of them, Obama has the best potential for breaking the cycle of partisan douchebaggery in Washington.

BTW - saw your comment on the bobo and responded to it regarding this freak job. She probably will make it as The BoBo of the Week next week. I didn't realize she had her own website until you posted it.
