    No End in Sight

Aaaarrrrggggghhhh this damn primary race is still going on, and it gets uglier by the day. This slash and burn campaign is going to make democratic voters, dare I say, bitter. But thankfully whoever is left after this ugly slug fest is over gets to run against John McCain who gives reasons to vote against him on a daily basis. If it's not 100 years in Iraq, it's his latest promise to stack the supreme court with even more conservative judges, you know, the kind that are against "judicial activism" except when they need to get their guy into office and all.

JSF promises the republican half our our left-right coverage to be up sometime this evening. If I were him, I'd be mighty happy with how this is going, though I think he gives Rush Limbaugh far too much credit. Howard Stern had more influence in last year's American Idol voting (go Sanjaya!) than that limp dicked pill popping assclown has in the democratic primaries. Baba Booey to you all.

Jason your right as always. Yet Jason why am I racist? I get the raving and don't dispute that at all, but racist? How did you get there? Unless you mean my anti Islam posts? Then sir I am not the only one. The way I see it, to kill a man cause of the color of his skin or faith is evil. To try to destroy a race that is hell bent on worldwide destruction is self defense. Was the entire free world a racist during the crusades? How many trade towers do we have to lose before we wise up that it wasn't osma bin laden, but Islam that crashed into our towers.Jason inside you beats the right of good and might, yet when men or knight's Like you have a kid they change. They don't become weaker instead they evolve into a higher plane on the human scale. They are now filled with hope and goodness. I think its the kids that bring out the best in man. they no longer want to destroy like I do but instead want to build a better world for kids. I strongly believe Jason its because of Men like you that God doesn't destroy our planet. I think that Gods looks at your kid and wife and sees hope for a better world and he takes his might finger off the button. Never CHANGE JASON!! YOU FUCKING ROCK MAN!!!

Wally, to paraphrase DeNiro in Goodfellas, it was a little bit racist. A little bit.

I'm going to just try to ignore you when you getting all crazy like that because otherwise you're rather normal and have an interesting blog. I'll just leave you with one thing to ponder: do not become that which you hate.

Hey Jason, thanks for stopping by MTMD and commenting on the WW Cherry Blossoms photos. Every Wednesday I'll strive to post the most breathtaking, dramatic, and beautiful images possible.

As for the primary season, let me tell you that as a resident of North Carolina, I'm glad the primary is OVER.

But what amazed me this morning is what we've learned about Hillary Clinton after the fact. As she has committed to loan her campaign millions more and not yet concede, the American people have learned that she is a fighter that refuses to give up. I don't care what her reasons or personal ambitions are. The fact that she's a fighter tells me she's the most presidential of all the candidates. No one else running for the highest office in the land is scrapping like she is. Does this mean that she cares more about the American People? Based on her lifelong career, I'm inclined to believe that to be true. While I don't necessarily believe anything a political candidate says, I want my elected officials to at least represent my interests. Hillary is saying she will fight for the American people. She's not giving up what seems a lost cause. I don't believe she'll win the nomination. But I do believe she would fight for the American people and go toe to toe with Congress and anyone else, foreign or domestic who takes a side against the best interests of the American people, and in that regard, I really believe she would be the best president of the bunch.

    Cheers!

Matt, I disagree completely. Hillary is all about Hillary. She doesn't care that continuing to run a nasty race that she statistically can't win will only damage Obama's chances in November. A good fighter knows when it's lost and tries to keep the damage to a minimum. At this point, she's desperately slashing and burning. The race is over. She lost. But she won't get out until she makes sure Obama has lost too.

I think her presidency would be a disaster. She may have some good ideas, but republicans will throw put every monkeywrench they can find in the gears to block anything she could do. We'd lose both chambers of congress by 2010 and have another republican president by 2012.
