    It's Stupid Tuesday Part 3!

Well, after six long and excruciating weeks of watching Hilary and Obama play the most annoying game of political grabass that I've ever seen in my life, they finally have a primary today. The thing is, after watching them for the last 6 weeks, I don't care anymore. I still want Obama to win, but the excitement is gone. I'm more concerned with getting myself caught up on Battlestar Galactica. Sweet frackin' lords of Kobol, I love that show! I got into it really late, but I just started season 2 and last night I even had a dream that I was on the run from the Cylons. If this election had half the excitement, a third of the great writing and a quarter of the great acting of this show, I would be taking the day off from work today to watch the cable news channels all day long. I guess you could say that politics have made me bitter, so I cling to intriguing TV shows.

But my conservative partner in primary coverage, JSF, is back from a blog break, and he's promising to have perspective from the dark side on this horse race later in the day. In the meantime, don't miss his partisan reasons for being against environmentalism. It's so wrong on so many levels that I need time to sort them all out before even attempting a comment. Of course, being on the wrong side of almost every issue is part and parcel to being a conservative, but it's the mind boggling logic that makes JSF so lovable.

I completely agree with you. Kristi sure has all the characteristics of a ringer. But it's interesting to see that sports champions seem to do better on the show than actresses and actors and other performers. I think there's something to be said about a championship mindset, which is what sparked my post.

By the way, Battlestar Galactica is the best show on Television, although I missed most of season 3....So I've got Season 2 coming to me on Netflix, then the Razor, and then I'll follow the rest as it comes up on DVD...I can't stay up that late consistently when I'm up at 5:30 for work most days.

    cheers!

I used to see that show years ago when Lorne Greene was the commander lol long time ago. 2 movies i saw this week. Alien vs predator requiem was excellent for its genre. the other movie 30 days or 30 nights, bout vampires in alsaka sucked eggs man.

Matt, you're being advertised right now. Thanks! I'm now 3 episodes in to season 2. It's so fucking intense! I download a full season at a time, then convert to MP4 and watch on my iPod at my convenience. I hope to get caught up in a few weeks so I can start watching the last season as it plays out on TV.

Wally, you're so normal when you're not talking about genocide. The original Apollo (Richard Hatch) plays a terrorist/freedom fighter depending on which side you're on, who is now part of the civilian government of the surviving humans. I'd like to see the original Starbuck (Dirk Benedict, better known as Face from the A-Team) make a cameo. I was very young when the orignal series was on, so I don't remember much of it, but I have a feeling it was pretty corny by today's standards. I didn't hate 30 Days of Night, but I've seen better vampire flicks than that.
