Possibly the most chilling thing I've read in ages. Salon reports from a national meeting of Hitler youth college republicans, and they're even worse than I would have ever given them credit for. I've been given some flack lately for using nazi metaphors for republicans, but now there's a scholarly study out to back me up on that. A team of researchers have just put out a study that ponders the similarities between Reagan, Hitler, Mussolini and Rush Limbaugh and looks further into what exactly would cause ordinarilly decent human beings to embrace the political dark side.
