| Last night's showing was great! I got to see a lot of people who I haven't seen for a while, from an old canvassing buddy to one of the musicians from the soundtrack who has been hard to get hold of to my old boss from the DNC. We had some real Washington interns in the audience as well as some republican lobbyists in the audience, but no protestors. I gloated a bit on indymedia and thanked Vickie and company for stirring up such controversey and helping us pack the house. The Black Cat are a total joy to work with and some of the nicest people and I think that having showings there every now and then would be a good possibility.
So today is going to be busy with move-related stuff. We need to take care of getting a new PO box in San Fran, buy more packing materials, get some finances in order and run around like crazy people. My hangover is almost gone now so we'll be getting started soon. |
Politics, film, pop culture, whatever I feel like posting is what you will likely find here. Originally started as the production diary for my first film, this blog has since taken on a life and death and rebirth of its own. Come for the opinions and stay for the sarcasm.
