PS: As you are a Springsteen fan and a lover of lyrics, I implore you to check out The Hold Steady. Seriously. Besides a few scattered references to the Boss in some their lyrics, their songs tell stories and have much of the same feel, though a bit updated.

So I take it you were never a big Deadhead? Have you explored much early Genesis? Peter Gabriel is a wordy songwriter, sometimes to the point where you have no clue as to what he's singing about. If you go to YouTube and search for Return of the Giant Hogweed I promise you'll be entertained. Some day we will be able to play that song.

I do try to choose my battles carefully, but also try not to take it too personally when I lose. But sometimes I can't help myself, like when I'm crushed by something I know in my heart of hearts to be lame.

Here to vote for you against the magic hamster ball on Tuesday morning.

I like the music a lot...in fact, more than I expected because I have an odd musical character flaw....I am into lyrics but don't really like jams. So if a band is going to play for 15+ minutes, then a song like Jungleland works for me because it has plenty of words to go along with the music. I love the Allman Brothers, but couldn't see them in concert because their live music is like a 40-year jam. But yesterday I stopped trying to watch your video and just cranked up the sound from my computer while I was doing some paperwork and really enjoyed it.

By the way, I think the guy who beat you in BOTB the other day has only won 7 times out of 70, and 2 or 3 of the wins were against my humble blog...go figure!

I know, I'm not crazy about the video situation at all. But our next gig is in a more traditional venue and I've got somebody coming to shoot the video for us. So what do you think of the music?

Came back to listen on Monday morning... didn't realize the music would stop when I started to comment....so far it sounds great...it is a little funny to hear the band but not see you. OK, back to the music before I get to work.

Hi Jason... stopping by to vote from our beach house in Bay Head, so I don't have high enough speed to watch the video, but I'll come back during the week to check it out.

Congrats on a successful show!
