A Clean Slate
Yep, I’m back. Nothing to see here yet. I’m still not quite sure what to do with a new blog, but my old stuff was just sitting there getting stale and I couldn’t have that.
The only agenda I have is to try something new. I’m just going to start by playing around a bit, throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks. I’m not getting any younger, so the old angry snarky profane political thing doesn’t really suit me so much anymore.
Of course, I am open to suggestions. What do you, all 3 people who might know about this, want to see here?
Welcome back! Feels like old times, good luck in the Battle of the Blogs!
Whatever you Blog about, I’ll just say, keep writing and blogging. Yours is a good voice to have in the Blogosphere.
Hey Joe, I thought running against you in a blog battle would be a fun way to let you know I’m tentatively back blogging. I think my new focus is going to be reviewing stuff I watch and listen to.
Please don’t take the lack of a blogroll link personally. I’m not linking to or even reading ANY political blogs anymore.
Are you watching Caprica? I plan on reviewing the latest episode soon. Love to hear what you think.
No problem with the non-linkage, you’re still getting your feet wet again.
I’m not a fan of Caprica but I am geeking out over Burn Notice (at least for the past 2 seasons). by the way, check out the author Jeff Somers and his Avery cates books.
Good stuff.
Yeah, Caprica is not quite filling the void left from BSG, Dollhouse is over and done with, and Heroes is a pale imitation of its former greatness. I definitely need something to fill my weekly geekly viewing. I’ve heard good things about Burn Notice and you can’t go wrong with any Bruce Campbell vehicle.
Doctor Who is coming back this spring — that’s something to look foward too.
From my H’wood contacts, SciFi network is run by a woman who does not like sci-fi. When will the Geek revolution begin?
They really ought to get Wil Wheaton to run the SyFy channel. That would give it real geek cred.
I think I’m way too late to jump into Dr. Who at this point.
Nope, New actor playing doctior #11, and you can netflix the rest.
Just remember: Google Daleks, Cybermen, and Time Lords and you’ll be up to date. I stay away from the outlier stuff (books and audio series) and stick with the TV episodes.
I’ve been into it since I was 14, they brought it back 5 years back — easy to catch up. All-onzy!
Welcome back! The only suggestion I have at the moment is perhaps make the text/font a little bigger.
B, I’m definitely going to work on the text size issue. It’s really annoyingly small. Thanks!
After seeing this i decided to give it a try to this TV Show. I`m already on episode 5 and it looks great. Thanks a lot admin !
Glad you are back! I think it is awesome that you have a band, much more fun than politics. Happy Birthday to Stella!
